October to June: The parks are open from October to June, and the best time to visit is during the cooler months (October to March). This is when wildlife sightings are frequent, and the weather is more comfortable.

Monsoon Season (July to September): The parks remain closed during the monsoon for safety and to avoid disruption to wildlife activities.

Overview of the Parks

Kanha National Park

Location: Madhya Pradesh, Central India

Famous For: Bengal Tigers, Barasingha (Swamp Deer), and its stunning landscape of grasslands, forests, and streams.

Wildlife: Kanha is home to more than 200 species of birds and a wide range of mammals, including tigers, leopards, wild dogs, sloth bears, sambar, and the rare swamp deer (Barasingha).

Safari Zones: Kanha is divided into multiple safari zones like Kisli, Mukki, and Sarhi, each offering excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings, especially tigers.

Bandhavgarh National Park

Pench National Park
